MN Drama, an award winning extracurricular theatre program, hosts two productions on the
main stage and one "dinner theater" style show in the school cafeteria each year. Students in grades 9-12 are welcome to audition for these productions, or to sign up to be part of one of the technical crews, assistant positions or the live pit orchestra.

Marple Newtown participates in the Cappies of Greater Philadelphia Program, which provides reviews of local high school shows and sponsors an awards gala every May to honor the performers of the year. As well as the Philadelphia Independence Awards.
